"Touching lives, one animal at a time"
The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc.
Director and Founder, Erin Lovejoy has been an animal advocate since she was a child. With a Sales and Marketing background, she was familiar with the techniques that would help launch her vision of The Lovejoy Foundation. The vision was a peaceful outside setting, for a dog and puppy sanctuary; a place for the public to come and play and adopt the puppies and dogs. Erin stands strong behind her belief that through educating the youth, the awareness will impact the future dramatically with the neglected, abandoned and abused animals on the streets and in the shelters. Her goal is no dog is left without a purpose, or without a job, or without a home.
Since April of 2010, Erin has been building her vision, she has rescued, rehabilitated and re-homed more than 5100 dogs to date. Erin strives towards her vision every day, pushing through the trenches of rescue holding adoptions every Saturday and Sunday, rain or shine. She has spent countless hours and resources lending a helping hand to the many owner surrenders, stray dogs, and injured animals, giving them all the support they need. With the incredible dedication of her family, standing by her side day in and day out, keeping with the same passion, Erin, her family, and The Lovejoy Foundation have reduced the intakes in the local shelters dramatically.
Erin's motto is "Touching lives one animal at a time" Hopefully, it will not be long before her vision will unfold to what she has been living and creating every day.
