First step in our adoption process is an application, this tells us all we need to know about you, your lifestyle, needs so that we can do the best job possible to match your needs with the needs of the dog or puppy that best fits you. Whether you fill out an application online or at one of our adoption events, a face to face interview and a home check are normal procedures in our adoption process and adoption qualification. We do not usually adopt outside of the Southern California but each situation can present circumstances that allow an adoption outside of the area to be considered. All dogs/puppies are required to have a collar and Lovejoy Foundation ID tag on them the day they leave for their new forever home. As stated in the contract collar and ID is to remain on the dog or puppy at all times.
